Färg

Färg is an interactive installation that was part of a larger exhibition with the theme Quantified Self exhibited in the Visual Arena in Gothenburg, Sweden. The exhibition was aimed at twelve to sixteen year olds, and had the goal to raise the interest in science and technology, while at the same time providing a fun and inspiring experience.

Installation

Färg samples the users colors on different points on the body and finds the most representative color for that area. Through this a unique color swatch is generated. All sampled swatches are represented in an ongoing stream of colours.

Webapp

The physical exhibition piece was accompanied by a web app providing a similar experience for people that were not able to attend the exhiition. It can be found at Farg.app.
